Well what grade would you give this and is it too detailed that it will take a major hit in price. Any guess at worth? Thanks friends : )

Thanks for the honest pictures.

Due to the difference in the number of impact dents on either side of the coin, I suspect that it may spent some time in a removable jewelry bezel.
Only the very slightest amount of wear on this coin to be seen on the obverse, reverse much better appearance.

Split grade:-
Due to the dents obverse dents AU-50, reverse AU-58.

Overall, not less than AU-55, perhaps 58.

I agree with AU-55. I don't see any odd wear from the obverse or reverse. From the coins that I've seen, the obverse usually has more chatter on liberty head gold, similar to the barber design The reverse looks unc while the obverse has all of the wear.

For an idea of value, take these grades and find one on eBay SOLD auctions in the same grade.

i agree with AU55/58 grade as well as the coin may have been in a bezel at some point. if it was, it did not impact the rims enough to detail the coin
