Im new to this, but having been reading alot about errors, but I've not come across anything like this yet. Does anyone know what caused the circular pattern underneath the lettering on the front side.

Sorry, that's not an error. It's coin rolling/crimping machine damage.

. Looks like you need to filter your light source. Going with these photos I agree with counting/wrapping machine damage.
