Agreed, it is flat and shelf-like, indicating it is Machine Doubling.

Machine Doubling shows on the outside of the devices. That is what you are seeing. On a doubled die, the devices will be enlarged in the centers of the devices:

On the listing on V.V they don't show any listings for that year:
