Pretty good confirmation with the outline of missing plating on the rim adjacent. Fun find on an ok looking shield cent.

Awesome found a few these in bu rolls. I like when the rim burr is all the away across from the coin where it came off at the rim they are very neat errors or whatever they are haha

gorham_collector, are your finds on shield cents?

I'm wondering if these errors are less common on zinc vs copper cents.

Yes @coinhi my finds are all on shield cents. Got some nice sized ones too I've kept a few of them most of them I find I keep but if not in the best condition in the circulating change bucket it goes

Nice! I do find these every once in a long while on shield cents. I find them more in OBW rolls than in circulated rolls, not often with the missing plating too so that's a nice bonus.
