This is the first one of these I have ever found myself, and I've looked at a lot of coins from this year. Found this one last night in an old blue Whitman album.

The one I have in my collection was given to me by a very generous collector who gave me their only one to help me fill out my DDO-001 collection. I had ANACS slab it and it came in at AU-55. So he will get his coin back, slabbed, while I will send this one off. I'm hoping for MS64RB but we shall see as it's a bit toned from the album. Either way it is a total winner as he gets his coin back and I get a strong upgrade.

Very nice, didn't realize how strong this die was. Hard to miss, nice one! Those albums you hunt seem to produce a lot of good stuff, might be something I should look into when I'm looking around locally.

Another great find. Hope it grade MS. And that is nice to give the collector a slabbed version back.

Seeing the differences between 001 and 002 was hard, but when you put them next to each other then you see the differences quicker:

But on the reverse of this same coin I noticed a different point.

This is how I find new information to show differences on strike of coins.

Thanks folks! Yeah, it's easy to see, but... This DDO is on the thin date variant for the year, but those thick dates can have a lot of very thick "E"s that seem similar. I have found, though, that once you've seen the real deal it's a lot easier to skim those thick E coins that aren't DDO.

That is a really nice example. Congrats.

The E (WE)on this one is the first thing I noticed, even in the full coin shots.
