I know this coin should not have a mint mark but it looks like it has a partial S. Am I just seeing things.

1967-L-M-C-With-Possible-Partial-S-MM.

This is MD - and you will not be seeing any mint marks on 1965, 1966, or 1967 coins of any denomination as the mint did not use them at all during these years - it was an effort to stop hoarding during the transition from silver to clad coins.
