I got this back in change several months ago at the store where I work (of course, I always check my change ) and was a little surprised to see the lamo on the reverse.

Nice. I rarely see lamination on nickels also.

I think it's a strike-through, not a lamination.
Describe it as if there were no picture. Picture it as if there were no description.

It definitely appears to have the look of a lam but I also agree on possibly struck through. Maybe both?

I think both is the answer as well.

My favorite part of this coin is the remnant lam struck through on EPU. Worthy of a 2x2 for safekeeping.

Looks like a Lam to me with upper portion still attached. Nice find.

I'll go with a Lam - looking at the tear of the coin at the top through the PLURIBUS it seems to me that the tear (lam) stopped there.

You can see a little more under UNUM, definitely has the look of a struck through there and the monument, I'm not well versed in lamination errors as I only recently found my first one and none of the lam is missing, so it could possibly all just be a lam. Either way a cool find!

Yep, I knew lamination was here, but I wondered if it had a little bit of strike thru with it . It is happily in a 2x2, but took it out to better photograph.
