American Living In Rome - Part Time Collector

Hello Everyone,

This forum has been very informative and valueable in my few (approx 50) post replies.

I am an American - NJ - living in Rome. I collect, buy, sell, and trade a number of items - chess sets, playing cards, tarot cards, steins, lacquer, prints, etc. and only came into coins by accident. I like learning new collecting areas and came across a few interesting coins and, entirely with the help of this forum, have bought five coins; four - which I ran by the forum were hits - and ONE - which I did not run by the forum - a $20 mistake! Those are pretty good odds in favor of the collective knowledge of this forum!
