That pair sold on Heritage in May 2021 for $18000 US.

Dramatic for sure. Not sure how that made it out of the mint legally.

I have one of those, but mine is on the normal 3.2 gram planchet:

The much lighter weight and copper-nickel composition, and not being certified are the main reasons why I will not go after this one. Did any other Commonwealth countries use the same obverse die?

Just so the thread is coherent, it appears that the original TCNC listing has been edited....no reference to copper nickel. Now just a 10% light planchet. Maybe some off spec planchets lead to the brockage?

The two gold coins were sold to a US dealer a few years ago for a six figure price, he tried for few years to market it an insane price, after a few years ended up on 2021 Heritage as mentioned above. This price was probably a fair value for a NCLT coins, pops up on Stacks a few weeks a go and sold for about 50K, now it"s on ebay at this price, most likely coins like this were ordered by a RCM vp for a gift
