Bill has been writing this up over the past year or so in Penny Wise the Early American Copper club's award winning journal. He has uncovered some great research and along with modern digital image overlays has been able to prove this hub theory isn't just a theory anymore.
While Penny Wise is on the NNP site for free only the issues up to 2018 are posted, you need to be an EAC member to access the later issues where Bill presents the Hub case. The series by Bill has been a fascinating look at the whole early coin hub subject. Worth joining for it alone IMO.

Just a note on Bill's name it spelled "Bill Eckberg"
just in case anyone is looking up his books or other online presentations. He has done a really fascinating one on 1815 US Mint Coinage what, why and when? It was the first lecture of his I attended, it was at the EAC conference in Irving, TX, where it was about 100F outside and I was looking for a nice air conditioned room to park myself in for a little while.
I ended up being in the room Bill was giving this very talk I link to. He's a great speaker and author. You can find my review of his Half Cent book in the Books & Supplies forum from a year or two ago.
Bonus - you can see my ugly mug sitting in the front row, wearing sandals, asking probably a stupid question around 38:15 about US Mint planchet manufacture vs. purchasing them LOL. To be fair I was pretty new to serious EAC coinage research and study way back in 2015.
If you look up Bill Eckberg in the David Lisot video library at the NNP under "Multi Media" you should find quite a few presentations available, all of them are really good, as Bill is a well spoken and knowledgeable speaker.
