I picked up this Half Cent for my type set. Does anyone have an idea on the grade? Thanks!

EF reverse but the obverse will hold it to VF-35.

I would go with EF-40.

VF30 possibly details(cleaned) not sure if its retoned enough to straight grade, the pale surface colors, purples, greens and red are indicative of a cleaning. there are a couple things that could be altering this, one its shot through the holder or two the lighting. take a close look at it in hand

The obverse isn't especially strong, so I'll go with a VF-30.

I looked at the enlarged reverse...looks like someone tried to change the "E" in CENT to another letter or the coin just got hit in that area. Either way I call it damaged.

I don't think the hit on the E would be enough to "details" the coin.

Unless the damage was done deliberately. I agree with @KK, it looks like an altered letter.
