Hi, my name is Greg and I am new to this forum. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been collecting old U.S. Coins since I was a kid. My grandfather used to take me to flee markets and I would buy what I could afford at the time. I am from Pennsylvania and I am currently in my late 30's. My friends were never really into coin collecting, and when I was in my mid 20's I sold the majority of my coin collection when things got slow at work. Thankfully, I had enough sense to hang on to the 2 gold coins that I had purchased later on but sold all my silver and other coins in my collection. I am kicking myself now for doing so. Several years ago my other Grandfather passed away and I inherited a decent amount of his collection. Lately I have been trying to re-build what I sold years ago and add more to my collection. I consider myself to be a humble person and don't claim to be an expert. My goal in joining this community is to try to learn where my knowledge is lacking. Thanks.

To CCF , Hi Greg I can relate what a feeling you have now that you had to sell your coins ,I went through the same thing selling a lot of my coins many years ago and since built up bigger and better in the last 5 or so years . If you have any questions about your coins just ask us ; Many experienced members here om CCF .

This is a response to Bump111. He asked me to tell about my classic pontiac. I currently do not own any. This is actually an old screen name I've had for years. I did however own 2 older pontiacs when I was in my early 20's. I had a 1988 trans am GTA with the 350 tpi motor that I bought when I was around 19. I ended up getting into an accident on the highway and had to sell it for parts. My one buddies dad is a used car dealer and had a nice 1970 Pontiac Lemans sport for sale that I bought off of him. I kept that in a storage garage but ended up selling it to purchase a house later on. I wish I would have kept that car but I wanted to keep my priorities straight. I only have a few pictures of that car that I had printed out years ago. I can't find the digital camera card with the pictures on it. I'd love to to have a 65 GTO or a mid to early 60's Bonneville and maybe someday if funds allow it I will.

Nice '70 Sport. My aunt had a blue one that she drove like a banshee. Those early '70's Pontiac V8 engines were super smooth running plants!
