Very sad news that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away after the longest reign of any British monarch. Let's remember her here. Please post any coin with an image of QEII.

Great stuff trig. May she Rest in Peace. Everyone knows she has my heart.

This is a great one. Denomination and country on the obverse, no Latin as well. (Pardon the fuzz).

Great thread, we have one going on the British part of the forum too.
It is very sad our Queen has died, but her end was peaceful and that is better than some other ways of passing over.

New Zealand 3d from the first year of her reign!

Beautiful bimetallic 50c from 1994 showing the Maklouf portrait of Her Majesty

Life of Queen Elizabeth - Queen Mother. This means three (3) portraits of Elizabeth II, and one (1) portrait of her mother (coincidentally also named Elizabeth).
AFAIK this series (produced in the names of several different British overseas territories; this one is British Indian Ocean Territory) was made to commemorate QEII's 60th reign anniversary in 2012.

I also have a different coin from the series (different nominal issuer too but forgot which), with the same two portraits on the obverse, and Elizabeth as a princess with baby Charles on the reverse. I should probably photograph that one...
