to the CCF.

Our experts will be along shortly to share their views. It appears to be a well preserved example to my eye - but I have no real knowledge of these coins.

there are a bit more than 350 varieties of connecticut coppers. some are quite rare and some are relatively common. variety attribution is worth while if you want to maximize your dollars on this series. the varieties are described as miller-#'s. I'm sure someone on here will pop in and help with that. I dont own the references or skills to fully identify your coin for you.

for a common variety it might be somewhere in the $20-50 range. some of the less rare but still scarce varieties (something like 30-250 coins known) can be worth a couple times more. a truly rare variety can be worth many times more.
I collect low grade large cents. I currently have >230 Sheldon varieties and >235 middle date Newcomb varieties.

As stated, nearly 350 varieties of the Connec. coppers out there. I also put this one at VG8. As you can see on the reverse, many of these post Colonial coppers were struck on flans with flaws. Very common for these to have flaws not to be mistaken for damage.
