Hello,
I recently came across this Queen Elizabeth II half penny and saw that the head was on both sides. I wondered if this was unusual - any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Both sides of the coin are pictured.
Thanks.

Is there a seam along the edge? Most likely a novelty coin.

My vote is for this being a Magician's coin, but I'd love to see the edge to confirm. Welcome to CCF @coin!

Yes that is a seam for sure-two cents were ground down on their reverses and then braised or soldered together to make a single "coin" that will always show heads when flipped. Definitely worth saving in a 2x2.

Thank you, I'll go with it being a Magicians coin. Might sound like a dumb question but do you reckon its worth anything?

No numismatic value since this technically is damage, but you can buy them for a few dollars/pounds online. You could try for the same on eBay or whatever local marketplace you favor.
