This came out of a beat-up mint cardboard set that had tape all over the plastic. Heavy cameo both sides.

Very nice looking quarter! Also very interesting for sure. The line looks too regular to be a die crack. Is it a planchet flaw perhaps, or was there some damage done to the die somehow? Maybe something on the die when it was struck? As okie said, is it raised or no? Very interesting mystery anyways! Would be great to see pictures showing how strong the cameo is too. Are the fields well mirrored? Are the devices really frosty or just moderately? :)
