Very nice! Though are you sure that's a die crack?

I like the coin. Is the crack slightly raised?

Very nice looking quarter! Also very interesting for sure. The line looks too regular to be a die crack. Is it a planchet flaw perhaps, or was there some damage done to the die somehow? Maybe something on the die when it was struck? As okie said, is it raised or no? Very interesting mystery anyways! Would be great to see pictures showing how strong the cameo is too. Are the fields well mirrored? Are the devices really frosty or just moderately? :)

Had a close look and think that the blank had a lamination before striking and a piece was bent upwards when the blank-puncher was raised (could this happen?). The line from the rim to the G is ragged, the rest is dead straight and flat, not like a normal-looking die crack. At the E, there are two parallel line impressions which looks like the laminated part overlapped there - the area forms a slightly raised ridge.
Great lustre, probably have to change my first post thought and say it's medium cameo.
