Hi, guys!

So first, I was looking at a bunch of Nina Quarters and initially I thought this was PMD, in part because I assumed the scratch on the U above is more or less the same angle—thought this was just a longish gash. BUT the mark by the 1st N in Nina actually goes UNDER the letter, and the letter itself does not show any damage. What do you think?

Also, on another one there are four parallel gouges on her lapel and also under. I have a couple coins with these same parallel gouges (some are lighter and longer). Just wondering if anyone knows what this is.

Could be a die gouge? Could be Feeder Finger Damage. But not much a premium for this is any? But a die issue, not a contact mark. Making this a die event.

It is a contact hit:
Where you see it OVER the 'U' as it is raised and took the hit. As for the 'N' in Nina - that letter is Incuse and therefore NOT affected by the hit, but instead the field, which is higher that the N.
