I have this auction going, some dude bid 3 $20 bids, none since and only 2 days left.
Is there a thread here for hints and tips?

I wouldn't worry about it much. Most bids are done in the last few minutes. Also, your feedback will also dictate the bids you receive.

I don't understand your description of the "some dude" who made the same bid three times. Regardless, some things to think about as a seller: —do you have a low review count/rating? Buyers usually avoid people with low counts. —are your pictures good? In focus, with bright lighting? Is your description written like you know what you're talking about? —are you selling something common, with lots of rival listings? Is your shipping charge reasonable? What about your accepted payment options? If everything's good, then maybe you're just impatient. Not everything sells with the first listing, it may take you weeks (or longer). That's just the way it is.

I just put them on to test the market, they recently went up after I posted, lol But they cost me $1 and I am up at least $30, so its not a loss.

Yes, I have no rating, but it has risen from $20 to $36 the last hour, that is a $35 dollar profit , and a build towards a better rating. I see some have ebay listings on their profile, that I imagine comes with time in the community?

I interpreted your post different than every other reply.
They bid on your item initially, then went back and raised their highest bid two more times.
It won't show you their highest bid because that would defeat the purpose of an auction.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

What can you buy for $1 and sell for $36+ on eBay? I need to buy a lot of those!

Remember to subtract a roughly 15% fee+ shipping from your gross income to yield net profit. So you may be making $36-$11=$25. But hey, a 2,500% profit is fantastic
