Has anyone here seen this 1971 D Kennedy half dollar missing FG initials before at all anywhere. Is it worth anything other than .50 cents. Is this a rare deal or no deal? Thank you all.

If the 'FG' is missing it is just a die event. The over polishing removed the sub devices. Why these are popular is beyond me. It's not a forgotten issue, it was there, but just polished away. Pretty ho-hum to me.

Looks gone to me that would be a lot of polishing huh,I see nothing but a bare spot. Over polished seems a little off?
