just damage, look through a few rolls of quaters and you'll find more than have been stained and discolored

Post-strike damage, yes. May have been in a fountain for a considerable period of time.

Just post mint damage. No experiential plattchet never never never ever clean your coins, period.

Just a damaged coin now. Spender. Probably a metal Detector find.
