Just left of the blade on the reverse there are raised portions that look like they might correspond to the R in trust from the obverse side.

I did an overlay that shows about where you should expect to find clash marks on this coin. While it could be a clash it seems to be more of a possible Die Dent to me. Here's the overlay.

Overlays are wonderful and useful. But you also have to consider die rotation which sometimes occur in association with clash events. Is there any device that might have this size and shape around the perimeter of the coin?
