Can't tell enough about the rest of the coin to do any kind of a search with the full coin pics given, too out of focus, grainy. Here's the link to the 21D's. You have the coin in hand, help us out.

thanks makecents for the reply. I can only get so much resolution and keep it under 300kb to send photos.
I've explored VAM world and try as I might couldn't find a 1921-D/D VAM. Probably looking in the wrong place.
it looks like morgans don't have a lot of RPM's. It is still fun to hunt them and when you find one it makes your day.

I don't see any D/D examples, but there are tons of RPMs in the Morgan series. Check all the New Orleans and San Francisco varieties in VAMWorld.

Your example may be a combination of circulation contact and Machine Doubling. But, you may have found an unlisted D/D. If you want, go to the VW forum and show them your photos for opinions.

looked at it with a better scope and it's just a couple of scratches by the "D" the hunt is still on!
