Not miniature letters, that is caused by Die Deterioration
and split plating.

I agree Die Deterioration. Never seen it show up as almost a whole letter?

IT affects all the devices towards the closest rim. So it is not a doubled die. But a split plating issue. Zinc rot sets in.

certainly looks like split plating, but I'm scratching my head as to how that would render IGWT in smaller letters
