1955s Wheat penny it's in a package but the print has woworn off all I can make out is uncirculated. Also the number 9 looks different. What's everyone's opinion on it. Sorry the pictures aren't that great hard to take them with it in a package.

Packaged bye the Littleton Coin Company. It is a nice looking cent. But you can take it out of that package and place it in a 2x2 for much better protection (or even an album if that is where you are placing your cent coins.

But the 9 in the data has a nice big die chip.

And, that rather prominent die chip (broken post) in the 9. Cool example. I have five of six of these in 2x2s.

I agree, a broken post 9 die chip. Fairly common among 1950's era cents.

to the CCF and One other thing, littleton coin doesn't have a very good reputation. They pick coins out of circulation, put them is a sealed bag and sell them at inflated prices to unsuspecting people who don't know any better.

Littleton, which claims to be "the collector's friend", has been selling junk to novice collectors since I was a kid - and that's going back a long time.
