1968 S LMC Possible RPM-001?

2foxy Valued Member United States 150 Posts	Posted 03/28/2023 5:45 pm I found this 1968 S LMC that appears to be an RPM-001 although the mint mark position looks ever so slightly different. On the 1968-S RPM-001 there is spread on the mintmark showinging two punches into the die. http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20L...8SRPM001.htm 1968-S RPM-001 is a north. Note the comments on the site: Quote: Comments: S/S North. While this is light, the affected areas would be north of the mintmarks shape. The other areas on the fields are mintmark punch damage and is seen on many examples that used that same mintmark punch. Richard S.
