After searching through some nickel rolls, I found this coin that has seen better days, but it has been doubled on the reverse side. Under the microscope, you can completely see the doubling, but unfortunately I do not have a device that will except a mini SD card other than the microscope. The best I could do for pictures is a magnifying glass attachment for my phone until I am able to get a tablet or laptop.. any help on this coin would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, this is from an extremely worn out die here. Have a look at the 'N' in United - it appears like it is doubled on both sides, same is true for the 'S' in Pluribus which show it the best.
Another clue are all the lines on the fields radiating from the center out towards the rim - this is "Radial Flow lines" which are from a die that has stretched from the pressure of striking coins.

OK, so all those tiny little lines come in from the rim are a of the signs for a worn die? Man there's a lot when it comes to this stuff. I only do this a couple hours a week so I'm trying my best to research as much as I can before posting. I haven't ran across one that looked like this, so it made me believe I was on track but here I am again being taught something. I appreciate the feedback I'll do more research on radial flow lines. Thanks for the info Dearborn

Yes, evidence of a very, very work die. Numismatics is a kick, for sure.

Glad I can be of assistance Char. There is a lot to learn about coins, and this is a great place to learn about it. Doing your own research is a great way to start, but when you hit the wall, we are here.
