1958-P Washington Quarter Type B Reverse

stvnnvts999 New Member United States 29 Posts	Posted 05/10/2023 9:12 pm What I have here is a 1958-P Washington quarter with Type B Proof Reverse. I've had this coin just sitting in my collection for months because I thought the toning looked interesting but it wasn't until recently that I have discovered that it has a Type B reverse on it and it does appear to have potential to get a high mint state grade if I were to send it in for grading. Ive decided that it would be best if I dip the coin in E-Z-est and rinse it in distilled water to remove the blotchy toning and here is the before and after..... Any tips for what I can do next to get this coin looking blast white? The toning is really caked on this coin. Should I try to use MS70? If E-Z-est wasn't enough to get rid of the toning on this then what should I try next? Report this Post to the Staff
