Can some one tell me any thing about this penny? I found it in my change from a gas station.

Nothing in the minting process would produce a backward B.
I'll venture that something struck the right side of the B creating the straight line.
(Maybe even done intentionally)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

Copper is a fairly soft material so a hit on a devise like your "B" can deform it to a variety of designs. Your coin is just damaged by such an event.
