The problem is that the seller states they are counterfeits in the description, and eBay is ok with selling counterfeits as long as they are declared to be so. But $20 + $18 shipping? THAT is the crime!

No, counterfeit Canadian coins are never ok on eBay, because their sale IS a crime. Hopefully the members with the power to have these items removed see this post. Reporting them to eBay yourself is a useless gesture.

I stand corrected. In the past, eBay allowed such sales.

This particular listing is legit eBay item number: 185848910591 . Any thoughts? THE CAMELTOE TOONIE, MANY DIFFERENT YEARS 1996 INTO THE 2000"s. THIS COUNTERFEITED TOONIE IS RAISING IN VALUE DAILY. IN THE PAST ALL COUNTERFEIT COINS GREW IN VALUE OVER THE YEARS. I've BEEN PULLING ONLY THE BEST CONDITION OUT OF CIRCULATION AND SAVING THEM. WANT ONE OR MORE? MESSAGE ME OR CHECK OUT MY LISTING I HAVE UP FOR IT. EBAY DON'T REALLY LIKE FAKE COINS BEING SOLD ON ITS PLATFORM, BUT THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. A WELL KNOWEN MINT PULLED OFF THIS SCAM. BUT WERE CAUGHT, BY COIN SEARCHERS LIKE YOU GUYS, CRAZY STORY EH? BUT VERY TRUE..

I guess technically he isn't selling fakes however if you want to buy one then contact him. Very sleezy if you ask me.
