I did not end up bidding on this one as I felt the price got out of hand. Sold for about $150. Not sure the obverse is sharp enough to get to AU. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235196484633

It looks MS64BN to me. Not seeing any wear and appears to have nice luster.

While I don't care for the imaging the detail definitely looks at least AU to me.

if that's the case I stand corrected. Thought I could see some wear above the ear and on the bun.

I've got it at the AU50/53 level.
Looks like the surfaces were messed with at one point.

I would add that the coin is well struck with EDS dies. Lovely sharp denticles throughout the entirety of the obverse and reverse rims.

It's a fantastic strike actually. Problems aside, AU58. The only thing that would have given me pause is that distracting gauge in the neck.

yes I think AU sharpness is correct but I must be thinking of the good old days 6 or 7 years ago when you could find these coins for much cheaper. When I look at the price I always think to myself "How much would the coin shop buy this from me?" Keeps me from paying too much that way but prices have definitely shot up. Hard to find bargains on e-bay for me lately.

I'll say AU-55, possibly 58.
