Attached are photos of a 2002 P Penny that appears to have Lincoln's nose cracked and a nice piece missing from chin. I've been learning mucho from prior posts which seem many of these coins have PMD. Just interesting in the learning curve.
Beyond appreciative of the comments and professional opinions. I really believed this coin endeavor was easier.
@eagle2a1: Most abnormalities that are incuse on a coin are most likely damage. Chips, gouges, and cracks in a die are incuse to the die so when it strikes a coin, it causes a raised feature on that coin. Hope this helps you.
