1999 D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC With An Unusal Strike

allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 06/20/2024 2:05 pm I found an unusual 1999 D Lincoln Memorial cent with an interesting strike which looks like a proof! There were 6.3 Billion minted in Denver that year! I could find no information for this coin except a brief reference which stated RD with a Proof like appearance and good detail. So what is this coin? I am sure there is more information so I sent 8 pics (sorry and the coin is very bright so difficult to take a pic of) to see if anyone has seen this coin before. One is a dull copper almost brushed look. The other one is bright shinny surface like this one. As stated above, these are struck with new dies. Report this Post to the Staff
