I found an unusual 1999 D Lincoln Memorial cent with an interesting strike which looks like a proof! There were 6.3 Billion minted in Denver that year! I could find no information for this coin except a brief reference which stated RD with a Proof like appearance and good detail. So what is this coin? I am sure there is more information so I sent 8 pics (sorry and the coin is very bright so difficult to take a pic of) to see if anyone has seen this coin before. Thanks for looking and regards all.
If you search through mint sewn bags of zincs, you'll find two different surfaces. One is a dull copper almost brushed look. The other one is bright shinny surface like this one. As stated above, these are struck with new dies.
