I know there's not a whole lot of information about this coin, not even a specific release date yet, but is anyone anxiously looking forward to it? Yeah, I know it's going to be pricey.

I'll get the silver version for sure. The gold depends on mintage and price. New mint gold UNC and proof have a very high premium these days, who knows x years from now what the market will be for them.

It's been said,

" I'll get the silver version for sure "

Yes I Too Agree with That, The Silver should be a Very Powerful UNCIRCULATED Version .....

The 1793 " Flowing Hair " Was an Awesome COPPER Issue.....
The GOLD is Far out of Reach These Days........

The Historic Release of This WILL in My opinion have a Very Strong Following...... Being a First Version Too has its Collect-ability ..... Maybe mix up The Reverses Too, .....

I believe it's these:

Not sure if the design has been finalized:

Personally I like the revised design proposal better.

igwt79,

Thank You for the Links to the Information...

After reading the Articles, I see the " Silver " edition will ONLY be a MEDAL, Not a Coin Like the Gold.....

I Thought when This Flowing Hair Design was going to be An " Anniversary " Edition, I Thought the Original design Would look Awesome in Silver, Like All The Other versions of Gold Coins, NOT.

To My Understanding the Original was a " Copper Coin ", Why would The U S Mint NOT issue a Copper Coin and a Silver Coin Too.......

If that's The Fact, I Will NOT be investing on This.....

I have the silver version added to my subscription and veiw the gold as Livingwater mentioned. Most likely, should the pricing remain until fall, I would think the issue to be $3450 or close to that of the American Buffalo. If so, I may just be a buyer.

I think other collectors are and will be disappointed the silver version will be a medal, not a coin. If the gold coin is popular like the 2021 gold liberty with horse it will be a good investment, we'll see.

I wish it were. So much easier. I am just thankful I am usually online and can be ready to go at noon.

Consider me one of those disappointed the silver will be a medal instead of a silver dollar coin. I'm not big on medals so I don't know if I will purchase the silver or not.

I thought about the gold coin as one of my rare gold purchases but assuming it's at or near $3300, that's $900 to $1k over spot price. Hard to justify that one.
