Good eyes to see it. Nice VAM, certainly worth more than what you paid.

Here is the holder photo and in hand the Morgen has a fairly deep mirror finish to it

I am sorry for your loss . Sadly I do not know what breed he is as the shelter he was in did not have the best record keeping but if I were to guess I'd say he was some kind of a Great Danoodle (a Great Dane, Poodle mix).

that's a nice VAM, easy to see the doubling everywhere, but I agree with coinfrog & idk12345678, it appears to have been cleaned. there are a lot of fine, unnatural scribbly scratches indicative of human scrubbing on the coin surface (like, vs. die polishing). shouldn't this slabbed coin have been attributed as having been cleaned? or given a details grade? AU58 or not, top 100 or not, I think the price is a little steep for a harsh cleaning-damaged coin. regardless, that's a very cool VAM. I like those 8tf VAMs.

It is unreal that they straight-graded that coin. Reflective surfaces or no, how can those marks not be from cleaning?

Well, let us agree to disagree as I have cracked it out and put it in one of my Dansco Books. Here is a photo of the Morgen out of its holder.
