It is unusual for a coin, especially of this size, to remain problem-free. This piece once received a great strike, as everything important is still visible and sharp around the devices. Sap Moderator Australia 16810 Posts	Posted 06/07/2026 6:35 pm What impresses me most about this coin is that, for the 200 years or so of its existence, nobody ever thought "this coin looks dirty, I think it'll look much better if I clean it up a bit". I also note the scratches on both sides which, on a different coin, might have caused it to be classed as ungradable due to graffiti.
