allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 12/29/2024 5:14 pm So this coin, the king of the Lincoln Memorial Cents DDO's, The 1972 P DDO-001 I found in circulation approximately 4 years ago, I am showing it so the new people in our hobby of collecting coins, that it is possible to find really great coins without having to purchase them. I remember when I found this wonderful cent how excited I was. I showed the coin right away on the communityt website and there were a frw doubters (I know a group made copies) but I found a tell (small mark from rim over the D on United on the reverse) so I carried the coin to the local coin shop and they said definadely a DDO-001.
