ChicagoCoinGuy Valued Member United States 187 Posts	Posted 02/08/2025 09:35 am I am sure that Commems can do a better job than me on this, but: our stamp collecting president (FDR) was the genesis of this issue. He has mocked up a design and sent it to postmaster general Farley. Somewhere on the web is a picture of FDR's mockup. This particular issue of 1937 is my favorite commemorative.
