Sorting out a few recent additions to my collection, I was disturbed by a large fluffy creature with razor-sharp claws and teeth...

Nice one Spence.

Razor sharp indeed NumisRob.
I'd stay on his good side.

An amusing sight! Reminds me of a Japanese proverb 'neko ni koban'. Literal translation would be giving a gold coin to a cat. A similar English idiom would be to cast pearl before swine.

I had one that actually collected. I'd get back from a shop and put my purchases on the desk. The cat would come up and examine them. If he didn't like a coin he would smack it off onto the floor. If he did like it he would pick it up and carry it off. Not sure where he kept them but every so often I would find walking across the room carrying a piece he had walked off with a week or month earlier.

I have the same trouble. They love to lay on keyboards when you are trying to type.
