First two coins look like Timurid to me. No. 3 looks Persian of some description, possibly Safavid. Sorry I couldn't help more, time is tight.

Thanks, yes, I think they are either Timurid or maybe Shaybanid. Haven't had any luck pinning anything down in detail, unfortunately.

Coin 1 and 3 are Shaybanids. The ruler's name is in the cartouche. Coin 1 is Abd Allah Khan II, Davidovic kartus type 1: Balkh mint. Album 2995. Zeno 65726 I can't find a match for coin 3 but definitely Abd Allah II Acknowledgment to THC of World Of Coins for pointing me in the right directionStill tracking coin 2 but you'll probably get there before me now. Good Luck Edited, I had mixed the coin numbers up. Hopefully no-one got too confused to the point of shaking their heads

The third coin has similarities with the vcoins and the ebay specimen, but some differences too. They both are dated where as your's is not visible (well I don't think so anyway). Yes, your's is minted in Herat. I have drawn it on this snap of your coin. The Kalima, which is praising their god Allah, is on the opposite side, and you can see almost the same text on all of the examples, and is a common theme across many Islamic coins back in the day. I am by no means an expert in any of this but find it interesting, and learn something every day. Others here could give you far better explanations than mine, if they happened to look in on this thread. I'll keep an eye out for some other matches, and good luck.

And Coin #2 is another Shaybanid tanka Shaybanid dynasty, Date?, AR Tanka, Abu al-Mansur Kuchkunji, Bukhara (Uzbekistan) mint (AH 918-937/1512-1531 AD) Similar to Numista N#310351 and the reverse is similar to https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?p...y=d&way=descI did a rough read of the name in the central cartouche of the reverse side (LH) and found the khan in the list of rulers in Zeno. aws22 from worldofcoins.eu kindly filled in the rest of the detail (see at http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/in...9891.0.html)Three nice coins btw

Amazing, thank you so much for reaching out to another forum. I agree, the second coin looks like a bunch of cacti arms!
I appreciate all the effort - Islamic coins are not my specialty (I'm limited to reading the Arabic numbers and style to deduce where the coin came from), but it's been great learning about each of these different empires in Central Asia.
