Can you depress them with the tip of a wooden toothpick? Plating bubbles are very common on zincoins, especially the earlier years when the mint was still experimenting. The weight shouldn't be necessary, it is quite obvious it is a copper plated zinc coin and should weigh about 2.5g Report this Post to the Staff
