I recently bought austrian 1 kreuzer coin thats clearly been stamped on both sides. Stamp looks like number 13. Does anyone know anything about these ? Thanks
It's not an official counterstamp. There's no reason for a 1 kreuzer coin to have a "13" stamped on it. I can only assume someone with a "13" metal punch needed to test it on a random available piece of metal, and this coin was that random piece of metal.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
