Is it just the north east, but I am finding it harder and harder to find the president $1 rolls or any rolled coins. and the banks had even looking for them or dont even know what you are talking about.
They had Tyler dollars, I bought a few, but then they send them all back to the Fed Any rolled quarters or any others anr in clear plastic rolls.
Anyone having this issue as well?
I wonder what banks have the $10 labled quarter rolls?

I live in New England and my bank stopped with the Presidential dollars around Andrew Jackson. I just get the uncirculated set from the Mint every year now. It's much easier.

I will be in New England in a two or three weeks on business, and I hope to find time to stop off at a bank to get some of those with the "P" mint. Here in Tucson, I haven't had a problem getting the newer Presidential dollars but I don't normally buy them by the roll. I'll buy ten or twenty; cherry pick two of them and then ditch the rest in my spending.

The problem is that they don't circulate.
If they quit printing the dollar bill, then they would.
Hey, it worked for us...

Here in NC, the Dollars are the only 09's that are somewhat easy to find. I go into lots of banks looking for any halves or 09 cents, nickels or dimes and they try pushing dollars at me telling me they haven't even got any quarters yet.

Ratman, that is because Gov. Perdue mandated the pushing of the dollar coins on all roll hunters entering North Carolina banks. (just kidding) In order to get them to circulate you should go to the bank and get ever how many it would take to pay your property taxes with, and take right on up to the tax office. How do you think that will go over? I get the same thing here in my part of NC also.

How do you think that will go over? If I did that it does over like this. "We can't take those. We only accept checks or credit cards. See the signs?"

I inquired about Tyler rolls at one of the larger B of A branches here this morning. They are out! However, the kind sweetie teller did have 20 of them loose, so I bought them all.

My banks here in south Fl never have halves or new quarter rolls. I only get cents & nickels. Once I did find 10 half dollar rolls but they turned out to be someone else's dump. All facing the same way with no goodies and a blue mark around the roll. I've made a couple of nice cent finds so I'll stay with those.

I also get the dollar rolls in KY. You better check them though. The last two released here were from Denver. Not sure what that is about.

I just get funny looks in NJ. Banks will have loose older ones, but never seem to have rolls of new anything around me.

My big issue with the banks and the Feds is that they dont promote the Dollars. I think the President Dollars are a great way to get everyone into coin colecting and it is educational for the kids. The Proofs are real sharp, great detail The Fed has so much free promotional material available and the banks wont even put up a poster to promote them. Something is wrong with That Here is the link https://materials.usmint.gov/$1coin/Just my openion but All banks should have at least a sign and then these babies will circulate.

I personally wish the banks and Fed would promote the $2 bill. I know cashiers will complain that there isn't a slot in the drawer for them, but why can't they put the checks under the drawer and then move the fives and up over one slot? I've sarcastically said on another forum that the reason why the checks have a slot are in case the cashiers have to hand one back out in change. I do agree that the Presidential dollars (I've seen them referred to as "Prexibux") are a great way to encourage coin collecting. They've got me asking for them from time to time at the bank. I'm not sure about the National Parks Quarters. The States Quarters were neat and I had fun getting them, but enough's enough.
