This one looks like it is 1941 FS-102, DDO-002, 1-DO-002, WDDO-002 Stage B. It lacks the Stage C reverse die dot. To my eyes it looks mid-VF. I'd appreciate input on stage, grade, and whether the reverse corrosion spot at 1:00 details it (I think it does). This can be a pesky variety to find on a halfway decent circulated coin. I've been a little bit surprised by the rough condition of most of the examples of this variety that I've found in the wild. It may just be the sample size, but I've found most of the other 1941 varieties on much better looking coins.

Here are the full obverse and reverse photos:

Here are detail photos for the key motto diagnostics:

I don't want photo overkill here, but sometimes we focus too closely on the individual doubling and it can be useful to back out a bit and see the bigger picture. I hope these photos help people who are searching 1941 cents for key varieties, To that end, here are more distant photos of LIBERTY and the left and right halves of the motto:

Very nice variety. Congratulations.
As far as your questions-
-The stage looks correct.
-I agree with you on the grade as well. No separation of the bow tie but the wheat lines are separatedefined.
-As far as whether this would be "details", IMHO, I've noticed that the grading services seem give a desirable variety or older coin some leeway and I'm not sure that brown area is offensive.

Maybe it was the individual grader or an older classic but I remeber one with issues that got a straight grade with pretty obvious cleaning.

Hopefully, TB with swing by and give you a more nuanced answer since he has sent a lot to PCGS.

Nice find! About trying to find a nice one, there is something about class I and V doubled dies that makes them overly susceptible to device flattening wiping out the separation. So coins just have to be pretty nice before they really jump out. But this die is really strong and shows well on your coin. While any grading questions can only lead to guesses since the TPGs are unpredictable, I'd say the reverse staining is not sufficiently impacting the coin to cause a details grade.
