from a bank roll(customer rolled) in about VF condition. Now I believe I can get a full set of nickels from circulation if I just keep searching. I only have 9 of the hardest to get left to complete the set. I have only been searching nickel rolls for 3 months now.

I probably average 12-15 rolls a day. I have been through a lot of nickels but I am seeing a lot of good stuff.

Good finds in a short timehockingzig
Make sure to keep your eye out for the one's with full steps on them. Make a list of the years you have with damaged steps that need replaced. You will be suprized at how hard it is to find some. The value full steps carry is worth to keep hunting for them.

Nice. That's one of the ones I need to find, too, along with the 38S, 44S, 46S, 48S, 49S, 50 and 55...strangely, the 50D seems to be the hardest Denver mintage to find in the series.

Congratulations!

I've been roll searching nickels for a year now ..... 1460 rolls later and I'm still looking for one of those!

I did bag a VF+ 1939-D Friday ....... now 'only' need the 38-D, 38-S, 50-D and both 42 Silvers to complete my circulation strike collection.

I could be another 5 years looking for the 50-D ..... Good for you that you found one so early in your searching.

Best

David

I'm still looking for that one also. I think I have about 15 to go before I complete the Jeffersons.

Very Nice find! 50D was hoarded a lot. I have never found one in circulation. Just talked with a gentlemen last week who has been collecting for 50+yrs and he had never found one in circ....Congrats!
