1885 Toned Morgan~

I'm thinking you're getting this scanner stuff pretty well licked.

If I'm reading the scan right, it's a pretty strong MS64.

Maybe I'm off-base here, but I see what looks like significant wear on the obverse, on Liberty's cap, the cotton bolls, and the maple leaves. Some of the detail loss could be from strike weakness although Philly Morgans usually have at least an average strike. There are some discolored areas in the reverse fields that sure look like friction. I realize the scanner probably obliterates the luster which is usually the best indicator of mint-state vs. circulated. However, based on these otherwise excellent images I'd have to call this a circulated coin. AU-53 to AU-55 IMO.
