I have been doing some research on digital scopes and found this one and would like some input from the community. I like this one mainly because of the ability of controlling the light. Also, any info on the seller other then what is on ebay? Thanks in advance.

you put a link to a file on your computer. You might want to try that again.

You might as well forget about the lights on this thing. you'll never get a good picture of any silver colored coin. I have a similar model with built in led's and dimmer switch. the glare on the coin is really bad.

I have a cheapo Digital Blue QX-5 and if you look around on ebay you can find them for around the same price and they work fairly well. Will not take a picture of the whole coin but does really well with details. It has a light on it as well that works pretty good but if you mess around with outside lights (like a desk lamp) it sometimes looks a little better

This is just a personal opinion, but if I were looking for a microscope I would get one with a stand rather than one that is hand held. This way your hands are free to take notes, reach for another coin, etc.

Me too... if your hands aren't rock-steady, then you're not going to be able to get any kind of pictures out of the thing. The magnification will turn even minute movements into a blur.

QX45 sample images of 1878 Morgan dollar VAM 118 at 60x ... These are pretty standard for the QX45.
