The Third Reich began in 1933 and ended with the Allied occupation in 1945. (They minted no silver coins after 1939)

In reply to just carl and eaglefoot re your granite coins. Didn't pre-historic numismatists keep them in beakers (hence earning them their name)? Perhaps you could do the same!

Sure would have liked to see one of their coin shows back then. I wonder how many of the those stone aged coins were being sold on ebay. You just know there had to be something like ebay a few hundred thousand years ago.

Quote:Sap said:The swastika is certainly a problem in France - I understand that nothing featuring one is allowed to be bought or sold there. If you're selling Nazi items on ebay, make sure French people can't find them easily. Sap & others -> pardon my naivete, I'm not a seller on ebay but am thinking about it as a way to offload some of my extra coins. How could a seller on ebay effectively ensure that French people couldn't find them easy?

Does this also apply to coins? I don't know about France, but (I have read) that Germany has a similar law, but coins are exempt. Does this sound right? Research which countries bar the sale of coins with swastikas, and list those countries as "won't ship to"
