"Darkside" means "foreign". It derives from the general observation among collectors of foreign coins in the US that most Americans "know more about the darkside of the moon" than they know about foreign coins. The expression first arose on the CU forum several years ago, I believe.
"Greyside" means coins from neighbouring countries that you're likely to find in change - they're not quite as "dark". Thus, in the US, Canadian coins are "greyside".
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
Glad others didn't know as well.Thought I was just missing something. With that definition though, there are even American coins that for me are darkside.
