It wasnt my first ever metal detector but it was the card that the P.O leave to say they had my detector but was no hime to accept it. I'm so pumped up right now! I cant wait to use it tomorrow. I ordered the Garrett Ace 250 after reading some posts on here that it was the best for beginners. Well my questions is what kind of batteries does thing take? Silver_Hoarder Valued Member Canada 68 Posts	Posted 07/27/2010 11:47 pm Well I just got in from my first ever hunt and even though I didnt come up with much I had a blast. I only spent an hour on the ace 250 but found most of my stuff in the last half. I learned quite a bit in that time too. So even though I found 5 pennies and 1 nickel is was fun! All the coins were canadian from the 60's and 70's. Can wait till after work tommorow. O ya and I found a La senza girl button from a jacket.
